Since 2014, An Apple A Day has been delivering interactive, lively and passionate health and wellbeing workshops designed to support individuals make choices and implement easy tools and techniques to support wellbeing and health.

Sarah Cronin, Director and Founder, has over 15 years experience working in the NHS, voluntary sector and public sector developing, designing and delivering health and wellbeing courses for people who live with long term physical and mental health conditions. Sarah’s passion for supporting individuals stems from finding ways to manage and live well with her own health conditions.

Health and Wellbeing Workshops

An Apple A Day offers a choice of 10 stand alone workshops. Each workshop is approx. 3 hours long which includes a practical relaxation session as well as time for coffee and networking.

 Newbury Building Society has worked with Sarah Cronin since 2017 and have incorporated her workshops into their corporate strategy making wellbeing a core part of their business.

Stress Less

A practical health and wellbeing workshop designed to give simple solutions to deal with the stresses of life.

Be Happy

Choose to be happy. Understand more about how much control we have over our own happiness. Incorporate easy to implement tools to support happiness.

Sleep Easy

The essential tools needed to support a sleep routine and good sleep, including some practical relaxation.

Manage Difficult Emotions

Learn how to recognise difficult emotions and use strategies to deal with the emotion and break the vicious cycle of feeling out of control with our emotions.

Manage your energy levels throughout the day. Focus your energies on what matters most and learn about prioritising and pacing to avoid “boom and bust”.

Relax and Chill

A gentle stretching session to include better breathing, mindfulness and guided imagery relaxation.

Course for Carers

An Apple A Day have been working collaboratively with Credu (Powys Carers) since 2017, co-producing, designing and delivering carer specific workshops to support the health and wellbeing of carers across Powys.

Gentle Stretching and Relaxation

Sarah is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and during her 5 years working in pain and fatigue management services for the NHS in Wales, has developed a gentle stretch and relaxation class.  Each class in one hour long.

Partnership with Department for Work and Pensions

An Apple a Day has been working in collaboration with the Department of Work and Pensions since 2014, delivering the Working Well Programme to those seeking employment.

The Working Well Programme is a mix of employability, wellbeing and resilience skills designed to support individuals take a step closer to the work place. Offering a mix of individual support and group sessions, designed to promote confidence, self-esteem and self-worth, the programme is informal, relaxed yet informative. Delivered by a trained team who all live well with their own health conditions, we really have been there done it and got the t-shirt! Programmes currently being run across Wales.
